La Orilla Tapas and Specialty Cocktails is a seasonal outdoor restaurant located in downtown Ogunquit, ME. We take care to source most of our seafood and produce as locally as possible–often from our on-site herb and vegetable garden!–and all items are prepared in house by the kitchen. Our menu represents the best of Maine, while also expressing a Spanish-inspired twist that is mirrored by our dynamic wine list and specialty cocktails. 


Owners and siblings, Matthew and Alexandra Haight grew up in the restaurant industry here in Southern Maine. They share years of hospitality experience and a passion for exceptional cuisine, dining, and drinks.

Alex is a graduate of Ithaca College School of Business and leads the Front of House team as Manager and Director of Operations. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Chef Matt has ten years of experience working in restaurants and specialty food production, including Maine Meat, Tipo, Eventide Oyster Co., Central Provisions, Hen of the Wood, Noche, and Clay Hill Farm.
